Surrey Police Search For 'Robber' Wearing Flowing Faux Tresses Topped By Pink Toque

The Canadian Press, 14 Jan, 2016 01:05 PM
SURREY, B.C. — It might have been a disguise, or it might have been one man's definition of high fashion, but either way, Mounties in Surrey, B.C., want to talk to him about it — and the financial institution he's accused of robbing.

RCMP say it happened Dec. 29 at about 6 p.m., when a man walked into the branch near the Guildford Town Centre wearing what they believe was a disguise.

According to police the man, described as an Asian, was wearing a patterned dress, white woollen sweater, a long blond, curly wig and a pink toque pulled down to his eyebrows.

The suspect escaped on foot and police have not said how much cash, if any, was taken.

Investigators say they haven't been able to identify the man.

They would like to speak to anyone who has information that could help them track the crook.
