Darpan News Desk, 14 Feb, 2020 07:30 PM

Surrey RCMP is asking for the public’s assistance in identifying a robbery suspect from an incident that occurred in January.

On January 26, 2020, at 5:20 pm, Surrey RCMP received a report of a robbery at an Automated Teller Machine (ATM) located in the 13600-block of 72 Avenue, in the Newton area. The male suspect allegedly assaulted a man who had just withdrawn funds from the ATM and stole the cash.

We are asking for your help in identifying this individual so that we can further our investigation, says Corporal Steve Lachapelle, Surrey RCMP Robbery Unit. We are very grateful for the valuable information supplied by the public in other recent investigations, and are hoping that someone will recognize this suspect.
