Surrey Police Charge Vancouver Man With Christmas Eve Attack, One Still Outstanding

  • Surrey Police Charge Vancouver Man With Christmas Eve Attack, One Still Outstanding
Surrey RCMP advises that an arrest and charges have been laid against one of the suspects involved in an assault that occurred this past Christmas Eve.
 
Elkan VYIZIGIRO, 18 years old from Vancouver, has been charged with Assault with a weapon, Break and Enter with Intent, and Face masked with intent. He is in custody pending his next court appearance.
 
Surrey RCMP’s General Investigations Unit continues to investigate and follow up on information that could lead to the identification of the second suspect involved in this incident.
 
The suspect is described as a black male, in his early 20’s, wearing all-black clothing, including a hoodie with a toque underneath, and light coloured shoes (see attached photo).
