A man had died in the Morgan Heights neighbourhood of Surrey BC. Man known to police is no more after being shot at his home around 5am near 161St and 30Ave.

The man has been identified as 24 year old Garry Kang.

This investigation is being led by IHIT in partnership with the Surrey RCMP. This is Surrey's first homicide.

Recently two teenagers were killed in Surrey a 19 year old and a 14 year old. However there is no connection between the shootings of the teenagers and the latest homicide.
