Gurdawara Sahib Dasmesh Darbar Surrey has alerted the public of a possible COVID19 exposure outbreak via Facebook Post on Tuesday Nov 24th.

In their post the religious organization Gurdwara Sahib Dasmesh Darbar in Surrey says an individual who tested positive for COVID-19 was in attendance every day between November 18 and November 20 from approximately 4 am to 9 am.

Fraser Health has not issued a media release regarding the exposure however Dasmesh Darbar wanted to let everyone know ahead of time to avoid any risk to their health. 

In the interest of the Sikh sangat and greater community's safety, Gurdwara Sahib Dasmesh Darbar is providing information in regards to this positive case of COVID-19 immediately. COVID-19 is spreading very quickly in our region and it may take time for Fraser Health Authority to put out public health alerts and complete contact tracing. It is our responsibility to the greater community to provide as much information as possible and as soon as possible.
