  • Surrey female assaulted in her sleep

Surrey R-C-M-P say they are looking for a male suspect after he allegedly got into the residence of a woman and groped the victim in her sleep.

Police say officers responded to the call on Saturday morning in the 141-hundred block of 91 Avenue.

They say the victim reported she was woken up by a man groping her in her residence, and the suspect fled when she screamed for help.

Police have not found the suspect after canvassing the area and are now asking for the public's help in locating the man, described as of South Asian descent in his early 20s with an average build and a long beard.
