Surrey Assault Victim Dies In Hospital After Fleeing From Police

    On October 21, at approximately 2:45 a.m., the Surrey RCMP was called to the area of 104 Ave and King George Boulevard, after receiving a report. However, the caller and the victim of the assault were uncooperative with police. The caller and the assault victim ran away prior to police arriving, and were not located.

     

    Later, at approximately 2:40 p.m., on October 21, Surrey RCMP was notified by the BC Coroner Service that the adult male victim had died in the hospital as a result of his injuries.

     

    The Integrated Homicide Investigation Team (IHIT) has been called and will be working in partnership with the Surrey RCMP.
