SURREY, B.C. — Four people are in hospital after a crash that police say appears to have happened during a street race at 176th Street and 16th Avenue in Surrey, B.C. RCMP say the collision happened at about 11:40 p.m. on Tuesday.
Mounties say one vehicle was wedged under a semi truck while a second vehicle drove off. Officers say all of four people who were taken to hospital are expected to survive.
Police say one person is now being investigated for impaired driving.
