Stephen Morse Charged In Sexual Assault And Attack On Elderly Woman In Her South Surrey Home

    SURREY, B.C. — RCMP have released the name of a man charged in the alleged sexual assault of a 70-year-old woman in Surrey, B.C.
     
    Stephen Morse of Langley has been charged with aggravated sexual assault, forcible confinement, break and enter, robbery, disguise with intent and use of an imitation firearm.
     
    Police say the victim was in her home on Aug. 12 when a man burst in, restrained her and demanded cash and other items.
     
     
    The senior was physically and sexually assaulted when she couldn't comply.
     
    She was treated in hospital and is recovering from significant injuries.
     
    Police are asking for information from anyone who saw 42-year-old Morse or knows of his whereabouts prior to his arrest on Friday.
