A confrontation inside a Surrey shopping mall has ended with one person seriously hurt and two others in custody.

R-C-M-P say the were called late yesterday afternoon to reports of a fight inside the Guildford Town Centre mall.

A statement from the Mounties says officers found the injured person when they arrived and the two suspects were arrested at the scene.

Initial information indicates that there was an altercation between parties which escalated to one person being stabbed.  

Investigators are asking for witnesses as they try to determine what happened.
