  • Stabbing At Surrey's Sheraton Hotel Sends 1 To Hospital With Serious Injuries

Surrey RCMP are investigating a stabbing incident that took place at Sheraton Vancouver Guildford hotel on the 104 Avenue

Police say just after 5:30 a.m., they were called to a report of a stabbing.

The victim, who has not been identified, received serious injuries and was sent to a local hospital.

Mounties say the hotel has been “secured” while police investigate. They say it is too early to say whether the incident was targeted.

“Investigators believe that this is an isolated occurrence and there is no risk to the public,” RCMP Sgt. Chad Greig said in a statement.
