Prince George R-C-M-P say the number of car thefts in the city has gone up.
Corporal Jennifer Cooper says in the first two weeks of May, the force has seen more than a 100 per cent jump in reported thefts.
She says many of the reported thefts are of early 2000s model vehicles.
Another main reason is drivers leaving their keys inside their cars.
