Son Charged With Mother's Murder After Body Found In Richmond: RCMP

Darpan News Desk The Canadian Press, 09 Jun, 2015 12:28 PM
RICHMOND, B.C. — Homicide investigators say a man accused of killing his mother in a Richmond, B.C., home has been found in Vancouver.

Police say 38-year-old Darwin Lescano has been charged with second-degree murder.

He was the subject of a public alert issued after 62-year-old Redelma Belisario was found dead by family members on May 19.

Investigators have said foul play is suspected in her death.

Officers say information about Lescano's location recently came to light, leading Vancouver police to find and arrest him without incident.

Lescano was scheduled to appear in court on Tuesday.
