Environment Canada has issued a number of snowfall and winter storm warnings on some B-C highways extending into today.
The agency says winter storm conditions are in the forecast for the Sea to Sky Highway from Squamish to Whistler, as well as the Coquihalla from Hope to Merritt and Highway 3 between Grand Forks and Creston.
Environment Canada says up to 40 centimetres of snow is expected in areas further inland, while coastal regions may see freezing rain.
Heavy snowfall of up to 20 to 30 centimetres is also expected on Highway 3 from Hope to Princeton, on the Okanagan Connector from Merritt to Kelowna, and Highway 1 from Sicamous to Golden
