Darpan News Desk The Canadian Press, 22 Nov, 2024 01:05 PM
  • Snowfall warnings for BC highways

Environment Canada has issued snowfall warnings along two highways due to a fall storm moving across southern B-C.

It says the Coquihalla Summit from Hope to Merritt is expected to get about 15 centimetres of snow today.

Meanwhile, Highway 3 from Paulson Summit to Kootenay Pass, is expected to get around 40 centimetres between now and Sunday afternoon.

The weather office says drivers planning to travel along those roads should be cautious, saying visibility may be difficult at times due to heavy or blowing snow

Harris has campaigned on the fact that she voted against the trilateral agreement, saying it didn't do enough to protect American workers or the environment. The vice-president is largely expected to maintain President Joe Biden's Buy American procurement rules.
