REGINA — Passengers on a WestJet flight bound for Ottawa found themselves making an unexpected detour to Regina on Saturday.

WestJet spokeswoman Lauren Stewart says flight 610 from Calgary to Ottawa was diverted to Regina after crew members detected smoke in the flight deck.
