Vancouver's housing market is on track to see slowing sales and price stabilization.
The Real Estate Board of Greater Vancouver says that's because of higher borrowing costs combined with seasonal patterns.
The board's outlook is being informed by August sales of about 22-hundred units -- 13.8 per cent below the 10-year seasonal average.
It comes as a new report from Re/Max Canada predicts the country's real estate market will be softer this fall, with average home prices expected to remain flat
The BC Maritime Employers Association said Friday the agreement to be presented to workers is the same one the union's caucus rejected just days ago. In a statement, the association said the deal is the proposal reached with a federal mediator and was originally agreed to by both sides on July 13.
Prince George Mounties say they've made an arrest in a suspicious death of a woman found on Tuesday. Mounties say a 22-year-old woman died during a home invasion which they believe was a targeted incident.

Police in Nanaimo say a 24-year-old man has died of his injuries after a crash with a suspected impaired driver. Nanaimo R-C-M-P say the crash happened around 10 p-m on Wednesday, and the other driver remains in hospital.
