Sixteen-Year-Old Girl Killed In Maple Ridge, B.C., Crash, Two Other People Hurt

    MAPLE RIDGE, B.C. — A crash east of Vancouver has killed a teenager and injured two other people.

     

    Ridge Meadows RCMP confirm via Twitter that a 16-year-old girl died early Tuesday.

     

    Police say the vehicle veered down an embankment near a sharp curve in a rural area of northeast Maple Ridge.

     

    The vehicle was carrying three people and investigators have not said if the teen killed was a passenger or the driver.

     

    No names have been released.
