ANAHIM LAKE, B.C. — Six people have been charged with offences ranging from first-degree murder to manslaughter following a double homicide in B.C.'s northern Interior on Boxing Day.

The RCMP say 23-year-old Matthew Hennigar and 22-year-old Kalvin Andy were found dead late Friday night in the small community of Anahim Lake, located roughly 400 kilometres northwest of Vancouver.

An RCMP news release says 27-year-old Everett O'Reilly has been charged with first-degree murder.

Twenty-eight-year-old Christian Cracium, 25-year-old Andrew Jongbloets and 26-year-old Serena Rhem have each been charged with second-degree murder.

Manslaughter charges have also been laid against 33-year-old Lucille Mack and 22-year-old Stephen Mecham.

The RCMP say investigators are particularly interested in where O'Reilly, Jongbloets, Rhem and Cracium were the night following the killings and they're asking the public to come forward with any information.
