Shooting suspect arrest:Richmond RCMP

Darpan News Desk The Canadian Press, 15 Sep, 2023 12:40 PM
  • Shooting suspect arrest:Richmond RCMP

R-C-M-P in Richmond say they have arrested a man who fired several shots from the window of a ride-share vehicle in Richmond.

A statement from Richmond Mounties says the man was picked up yesterday in Surrey, but it doesn't say whether charges have been laid, although it confirms the investigation remains active.

Police say the suspect was with two other men when several shots were fired from the ride-share car on July 23rd, outside a business on Sea Island Way.

No one was hurt but because of what R-C-M-P say was the "high risk nature" of the offence, police and the Lower Mainland Integrated Emergency Response Team worked together to identify and nab the man.
