Shooting in Vancouver

    Vancouver Police department responded to shooting this morning.
     
    Shortly after 11:00 a.m., police received reports of shots being fired outside of the Starbucks on Davie Street near Marinaside Crescent. When police arrived, they found a woman who had been shot. Paramedics were called and she was rushed to hospital in serious condition.
     
    A man believed to be responsible for the shooting was followed by police to the area of Science World where there was an exchange of gunfire that resulted in both the man and an officer being injured.
     
    The alleged shooter has been taken into custody and police believe that there are no suspects outstanding.
