Senior Pedestrian Hit In Burnaby, Police Looking For Witnesses

    Burnaby RCMP is investigating a pedestrian collision that occurred on August 27, 2019.


    At approximately 6:50 p.m., a vehicle struck a 74-year old female pedestrian in the crosswalk on the 4000-block of Canada Way. The female was transported to hospital by BC Ambulance Services with non-life-threatening injuries.


    The alleged suspect vehicle did not remain on scene and police are seeking assistance from anyone who may have witnessed this collision. Police believe there were a number of witnesses that did not remain on scene that could provide important information to further this investigation.
