Vancouver Police are seeking witnesses to a collision involving an 85-year-old pedestrian who later died in hospital. 

Police say in a news release the collision happened on Dec. 15 when the man was struck by a 2001 Toyota Sienna as he was crossing Victoria Drive at the East Broadway intersection.

They say his injuries were not believed to be life-threatening at the time, but he died in hospital. 

Police say the driver was an 83-year-old Vancouver woman. 

Anyone who saw the collision or was in the area between 4:40 p.m. and 5 p.m. on Dec. 15, is asked to call VPD’s Collision Investigation Unit.
