Mounties in Penticton say a search warrant has led to the seizure of several guns as well as cash and suspected illicit drugs.

R-C-M-P say it also resulted in the arrests of four people linked to the home in the one-thousand-block of Government Street.

The home had been the subject of a months-long investigation.

Staff Sergeant Scott Hanry says the Mounties expect the operation to have a "significant impact" on community safety.

The skyrocketing rents in Metro Vancouver are slowing according to the latest report by Rentals-dot-C-A and Urbanation. The report says the area's asking rents in November rose less than 1 per cent from last year, reaching an average rental unit price of three-thousand-171-dollars.
