Search Warrant Results in Firearm and Drug Seizure, 23-Yr-Old Sanveer Singh of Mississauga Arrested And Charged

    Region of Peel– Investigators from the 11 Division Criminal Investigation Bureau have seized a quantity of illicit drugs and a firearm as a result of a residential search warrant executed in the City of Mississauga.


    On July 5, 2019, investigators, with the assistance of the Tactical Unit, executed a Criminal Code search warrant in the area of Central Parkway and Eglinton Avenue, Mississauga. During the search, an illegal handgun with ammunition and a quantity of illicit drugs were seized.


    Sanveer Singh, a 23 year-old man from Mississauga, was arrested and charged with numerous firearms and drug related offences. He is set to appear for a bail hearing at the Ontario Court of Justice in Brampton on July 6, 2019.
