School in Port Moody evacuated for police incident

  • School in Port Moody evacuated for police incident

Students and staff were evacuated out of of École Moody Middle School in Port Moody due to a police incident Thursday morning. 

No information has been provided as to why the staff and students were forced out and the police called in. Teachers and students were in the field and parents and guardians stayed away from the school during the incident. 

About 12 police officers and a K-9 unit were at the school. 

The incident has been resolved since and staff and students returned to the classroom at 10am.
