School Briefly On Lockdown After 'Brazen' Gunfire In Surrey Neighbourhood

    SURREY, B.C. — RCMP in Surrey are investigating reports of gunshots in a residential neighbourhood.
     
    The Mounties responded to calls of shots fired at a home (near the intersection of 128 St. and 67 Ave) yesterday afternoon.
     
    Officers found shell casings in the area.
     
     
    Schools in the area were briefly put on lockdown but have since been re-opened.
     
    Police say it's unknown whether the incident is related to drug-related conflict in the city.
     
     
    Anyone with information is asked to contact the Surrey RCMP.
