Rogers donates to the Red Cross in an effort to help India with its COVID19 crisis

Darpan News Desk Rogers, 01 May, 2021 12:03 AM
  • Rogers donates to the Red Cross in an effort to help India with its COVID19 crisis

As the heartbreaking COVID-19 crisis continues to unfold in India, which is battling a staggering number of COVID-19 cases, we want to express our heartfelt support and deepest sympathies to the people of India.

As India’s most populated cities are being especially challenged to respond to the growing need for essential medical equipment, Rogers has donated $100,000 to the Canadian Red Cross, who is working with local charitable and medical organizations in India.  The donation will provide oxygen concentrators, ventilators, generators and other essential equipment to support critical needs at this time.

“We are so grateful to Rogers for their $100,000 donation to the Red Cross response in India,” said Kelsey Lemon, Senior Director, International Cooperation and Programs, Canadian Red Cross. “Their contribution will provide essential care and supplies like medical supports to our teams on the ground which are desperately needed and will help save countless lives.”

Many Canadians, including our Rogers team members, customers, and partner companies we work with, are directly affected by this crisis as they work to support family, friends and colleagues in India at this time.
