Rob Ford's Driver Had $900 In Drug-buy Money When Nabbed In 2013, Court Told

    TORONTO — A Toronto police officer is testifying about the day he helped arrest Rob Ford's driver.
     
    The officer says Alexander (Sandro) Lisi had $900 in police drug-buy money on him that day in October 2013.
     
    Police also seized a fake pop can with a small amount of marijuana from Lisi.
     
    The arrest occurred outside a west-end dry cleaners after months of surveillance of Lisi and Ford.
     
    Officers also arrested the owner of the dry cleaners, Jamshid Bahrami.
     
    Both are charged with drug-trafficking offences.
