Richmond Woman Sexually Assaulted By Man Pretending To Be Massage Therapy Student At Kwantlen

The Canadian Press, 24 Sep, 2015 01:31 PM
RICHMOND, B.C. — A 24-year-old man accused of posing as a massage therapy student has been arrested after an alleged sexual assault at a university in Richmond, B.C.

RCMP say the man allegedly approached a 19-year-old woman at Kwantlen Polytechnic University and said he was doing a survey.

Police say when the woman finished the survey, she was offered a complimentary massage.

Mounties say that instead, she was sexually assaulted by the man, who is not a student at the university.

The man, whose name hasn't been released, was arrested Tuesday, nearly a week after the alleged assault on the evening of Sept. 16.

Cpl. Eric Baskette says police would like to know if there are other victims and that anyone with information should contact the RCMP.
