Richmond RCMP Seek Witnesses After Assault Leads To ‘Significant Head Wound

    The Richmond RCMP are seeking witnesses to an alleged assault that took place around 5:30 am on Saturday March 7, 2020.


    On March 7, 2020 Richmond RCMP were contacted after a man was brought to a local area hospital with a significant head wound. The man was allegedly attacked by a group of individuals right in front of a restaurant located at 5300 No 3 Road.


    Investigators know there were other people in the area at the time of the assault and are asking anyone who may have witnessed it to contact police, says Corporal Adriana Peralta.


    It appears this was a targeted attack. The victim remains in hospital in stable condition.


    The suspects left Southbound from the mall parking lot in two vehicles.


    Richmond Watch General Investigation Section has conduct of the investigation.
