VANCOUVER — A warrant has been issued for a Yukon man after he slipped out the front door of the Whitehorse courthouse.

RCMP in Whitehorse say 33-year-old Richard Linklater was being watched by guards but managed to leave the courthouse on Saturday morning.

At the time, Linklater was wearing a grey hoodie and dark pants, but no shoes.

Mounties say anyone spotting Linklater should not approach because he may pose a safety risk.

He was awaiting a court date on numerous charges including robbery and failing to comply with a probation order.
