Darpan News Desk The Canadian Press, 19 May, 2015 10:10 AM
KAMLOOPS, B.C. — RCMP say they have arrested three people after a fight at a Kamloops, B.C., motel and the discovery of drugs and a replica handgun.

Staff Sgt. D.J. Lucas says police were called to the motel around noon Monday to break up a fight between two men that possibly involved a gun.

Lucas says Mounties contained the area and arrested a man and two other people as they tried to leave.

He says one of the three was carrying some crystal meth and heroin, and a replica handgun was later found at the scene.

He also says the man was earlier seen on surveillance cameras carrying what appeared to be a gun.

Mounties are looking at recommending charges.
