Replica gun used in road rage incident

Darpan News Desk The Canadian Press, 22 Aug, 2024 11:50 AM
  • Replica gun used in road rage incident

Mounties in the Lower Mainland say a man has been charged after a road rage incident where he allegedly used a replica gun to threaten the victim.

Surrey R-C-M-P say officers responded to a report of an incident involving a gun along the Fraser Highway near 148 Street last Thursday evening.

They say officers used C-C-T-V footage to find the suspect, arresting him the next day and seizing a gun that turned out to be a replica from a home in Aldergrove.

Police say the 27-year-old suspect has been charged with uttering threats to cause death or bodily harm and assault with a weapon, and the conditions of his release order prohibit him from possessing any weapons.
