RCMP Say Woman Injured After Shooting In Busy Area Of North Vancouver

    VANCOUVER — A shooting in North Vancouver has sent one woman to hospital.


    Social media posts from North Vancouver RCMP report shots were fired at around 11 a.m. Tuesday in a busy area of Lonsdale Avenue, not far from Lions Gate Hospital.


    The woman's condition has not been released.


    RCMP say the area has been secured.


    There is no word on whether any suspects have been identified.
