RCMP Say Two Men Face Charges After Meth Lab Discovered In Kamloops House

Darpan News Desk The Canadian Press, 26 Jun, 2015 01:03 PM
KAMLOOPS, B.C. — Police say they have uncovered a crystal meth lab in a Kamloops, B.C., home capable of producing thousands of doses of the drug every few days.

RCMP say two men  have been arrested after officers searched a home and seized materials from the apparent drug production facility.

The men, aged 25 and 55, are now facing charges of production and trafficking of a controlled substance, and Mounties say more arrests are expected.

Investigators say it appears the lab could manufacture up to six kilograms of methamphetamine over a 48- to 72-hour period.

They say the investigation is connected to another search in the city on June 4 where cocaine, heroin and oxycontin were seized.

It is expected to take crews several days to clean up the property. (CHNL, CFJC)
