RCMP Say They Have Made 'Significant' Fentanyl Seizure On Vancouver Island

The Canadian Press, 21 Oct, 2016 01:40 PM
NANAIMO, B.C. — Police seized one kilogram of fentanyl earlier this week on Vancouver Island.

The RCMP say they found the drug in a car travelling on Island Highway on Monday evening just south of Nanaimo.

The male driver of the car was arrested.

Police say the seizure of fentanyl is one of the largest by the RCMP in British Columbia over the past few years.
