Darpan News Desk Canadian Press, 21 Aug, 2014 02:32 PM
The RCMP said Thursday they arrested a man after a father and his adult son were found dead in Prince Edward Island.

The Mounties said the two men were found dead Wednesday around 9:15 p.m. inside a residence on St. Mary's Road south of Montague in Kings County.

Officers responded to the scene after a member of the public called 911.

The RCMP said a man in his 40s was arrested without incident Thursday at about 7:40 a.m. in Montague.

He is expected to appear in court Friday and police say they do not suspect anyone else was involved in the deaths.

The Mounties did not identify the victims nor say how they died, adding that autopsies will be conducted to determine the exact cause of death.

Police have also not confirmed reports that a shooting had taken place.

Roadblocks that were put in place on St. Mary's Road as police investigated were later removed.
