SURREY, B.C. — A 28-year-old man has been charged with multiple offences related to a collision that killed two people in Surrey, B.C.
RCMP say in a release that three people were also seriously injured in the May 2016 crash at an intersection.
Mounties say dangerous and impaired driving causing death are among nine counts against Syed Ahmed.
Police say a car struck a vehicle on the passenger side and then hit another vehicle.

Syed Munim Ahmed has been charged with:
2 counts of Dangerous operation of a motor vehicle causing death
1 count of Dangerous operation of a motor vehicle causing bodily harm
2 counts of Impaired operation of a motor vehicle causing death
1 count of Impaired operation of a motor vehicle causing bodily harm
2 counts of Impaired operation of a motor vehicle over 80mg% causing death
1 count of Impaired operation of a motor vehicle over 80mg% causing bodily harm
