Racial Attack: Sikh Man Brutally Beaten Up In Birmingham. Watch!

Darpan News Desk IANS, 31 Mar, 2015 01:45 PM
In a suspected racial attack, police in Britain have come across footage posted online in which a Sikh man is seen being brutally beaten up in Birmingham city Broad Street, a media report said on Tuesday.

"We are aware of a video posted on the internet which appears to show a man being assaulted on Broad Street in Birmingham on Sunday, March 29," Daily Mail quoted a spokesperson for West Midlands Police as saying.

"It has been suggested that the attack was religiously motivated," the spokesperson said, adding that police would launch a full investigation into the incident.

The footage shows a man punching and kicking the victim as he is desperately trying to cover his face. A crowd gathers around the man, but no one is seen trying to help, the daily said.

"I would encourage the man who appears to be the victim in the video to contact us, along with anyone else who was there at the time and can give us any further details," the police spokesperson said.
