  • Public Visitation, Regimental Funeral To Be Held Next Week For Edmonton Officer
Edmonton police say they will honour an officer killed in the line of duty with a regimental funeral next week.

Police say a public visitation will be held Tuesday for people to pay respects to Const. Daniel Woodall.

A funeral procession is to start Wednesday morning at the Alberta legislature and end at the Shaw Conference Centre with a public service.

Woodall, who was 35, was killed Monday night while trying to serve an arrest warrant.

Police say they had been investigating Norman Raddatz for anti-Semitic bullying of an Edmonton man and his family.

The 42-year-old refrigerator repairman fired a gun through his front door before shooting himself dead in his basement.
