Prince Edward to visit four Saskatchewan cities in September tour

Darpan News Desk Canadian Press, 20 Aug, 2014 11:13 AM
Saskatchewan residents are getting a visit from royalty.

Prince Edward, Earl of Wessex, is to visit the province Sept. 17-19.

The youngest son of the Queen is scheduled to stop in Moose Jaw, Regina, Saskatoon and Swift Current.

It is his fifth visit to Saskatchewan and his 37th to Canada.

Prince Edward first toured the province in 1978 with his parents and made individual visits in 1994, 2003 and 2006.

Premier Brad Wall says it's a unique opportunity for people to engage with a member of the Royal Family.
