  • Pregnant woman assaulted in Vancouver

A business owner approached a man earlier this week and asked him to move from in front of her store.

He allegedly responded by throwing rocks at her stomach. The woman, who is eight months pregnant, called police.

Officers found the suspect nearby. He was arrested for assault and taken to jail, where he assaulted a VPD sergeant by coughing on him.

The business owner was not physically injured.
