Police have arrested a man who allegedly smashed several vehicle windows in the parking lot of Eagle Ridge Hospital in Port Moody.

Officers arrested a man matching the suspect description a short time later a few blocks away from the hospital.

Police say 34-year-old Nicholas Yachiw has been charged and remains in custody after officers found the man in possession of possible stolen property including passports.
