Police Warn People In Nova Scotia About Sex Offender Dubbed The 'Pants Puller'

Darpan News Desk, 05 May, 2016 12:48 PM
ANTIGONISH, N.S. — RCMP in Nova Scotia are warning people about the release of a high-risk offender dubbed the "pants puller."

They say 29-year-old Gavin Sean Griffiths has served a sentence for sexual assaults and has convictions dating back to 2005 for sexual assault and other offences.

Police say he did not have relationships with the women he assaulted and has been assessed as being at a high risk to reoffend.

Police say Griffiths is being monitored by the Ottawa Centre for Probation and Parole and recently indicated he was heading to Nova Scotia, possibly to Antigonish.

He is on probation for two years and is restricted from having contact with certain people or possessing weapons, and must undergo counselling.
