According to Delta Police, a large police presence in North Delta, at the 11700 block of 92 Ave, resulted in the execution of a warrant at a suspected illegal drug lab. The clandestine lab is believed to be dormant but there has been no information on how much and what type of chemicals might be present.

The BCRCMP CLEAR team has been assisting in the operation. Delta Police Chief Neil Dubord shared the news via a Twitter post.

Residents in the area will continue to see a high police presence, as well as Delta Fire and Emergency Health Services, until any hazards can be assessed and addressed.
