Police Say Suspects May Have Been Burned While Setting Surrey House On Fire

The Canadian Press, 05 Aug, 2015 11:53 AM
SURREY, B.C. — Police believe there's a connection between a house fire and a vehicle blaze half a block away in a Surrey, B.C., neighbourhood at 7900-block of 134th Street.

RCMP say the early-morning house fire appears to have been intentionally set and that the suspects may have burned themselves in the act.

Firefighters extinguished both fires and police say the house was occupied but that no one was in the vehicle.

Officers have canvassed the area while looking for any surveillance video.

Mounties are trying to determine a possible motive behind the fires and are asking anyone with information to contact them.
