Police look for witnesses after injured woman located near Anderson Creek

Surrey RCMP is investigating after an injured woman was located near the Langley /Surrey border.

On September 26, 2021, at approximately 6:30 pm, Surrey RCMP responded to the report of an injured woman who was located in a trail near the 19400-block of Colebrook Road. The woman was transported to local hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

Officers from the Surrey RCMP Major Crime Section have taken conduct of the investigation and are working to determine the cause of the woman’s injuries. Investigators are requesting that anyone who was in the area and may have witnessed what occurred to contact police.

Once inside the residence, signs of illicit drug activity were noted and Surrey RCMP was called to assist. Frontline police officers attended and discovered what they believed to be a Psilocybin mushroom drug laboratory. A woman was arrested at the scene, and later released pending further investigation.

Later the same day the officers executed the search warrant and located a number of items inside the residence including a 9mm Semi-Automatic Handgun; a fully automatic carbine rifle; ammunition; and 358 grams of suspected Fentanyl (approximately 3580 doses).
