British Columbia's police watchdog is looking into a police-involved shooting in Prince George.
It happened last night as police responded to a call about a man attacking others at a home on Oak Street.
Shots were reportedly fired after officers arrived and tried to take a man into custody.
That man was taken to hospital with serious injuries.
The fire was fanned by gusty winds and spread quickly through the grass and sagebrush in the park but officials say it was controlled before any homes or structures were damaged.
