Police Investigating 'Suspicious Occurrence' In South Surrey

    Surrey RCMP is asking for the public’s assistance in the investigation of a suspicious occurrence.

     

    On May 13 at approximately 12:30am, an individual reported to police that they observed what they believed to be a firearm, laying on the roadway, being picked up by a person in a dark coloured SUV. This suspicious occurrence occurred a few hours earlier near 16 Avenue and the Highway 99 on ramp.


    Police officers attended the area and conducted patrols and neighborhood inquiries, canvassing for witnesses and video surveillance.
